Not sure what the exact details are on this toy, but I had to post up these pictures. Freakin’ awesome! Apparently it comes with a number of accessories, including several variations on the hand, which apparently even includes a kung fu grip to hold weapons.

In case yall have been sleeping, VA’s Five One band has been doing a great job with their Deuceburgers – weekly released remix songs. I’ve seen several groups try and post up weekly songs as a promo to try and get their music out to the people, only to have the quality of the songs fall off as the weeks go by. But the two most recent remixes/songs posted might be the best so far. Again, if you’ve been sleeping, Check em out and hit up their site to get the latest songs as they are released.

Two things The Honest Ape loves: Beer and polaroids. 

Poladroid is a fun, easy to use app that seeks to replicate the classic insta-camera look that everyone loves and misses. The handling is pretty simple, just an easy drag and drop of a picture file to the app icon and after a few shakes you get a great polaroidesque shot. (Check out the video demo) It’s a fun app and an easy way to get the polaroid effect applied to an image. For now there is only a Mac version but seeing from some of the Poladroid blog posts they are working on a Windows version and improving the app with things such as better cropping functions. Wow…leave it up to the OKP forums to produce classics like this minutes from the news dropping of McCain’s running mate choice. This is just pure funny. I don’t even know who to credit, but as John McCain might say “My friend” you are a genius.

The big homie Dj Manny was on News 8 Austin today looking like Richie Tenenbaum …working out and dj’ing at Pure Austin off of only two hours of sleep.  The story is pretty interesting…but the video really makes it great.
