El Prez- It Is What It Is ft DNEZ

One of Urb Magazine’s Next 1000 El Prez, short for El Prezidente, is a Cali native that has worked with several of the artists coming out of that Inglewood scene, including UNI which we wrote about a few months back. The Daily Show is a pretty solid project, El Prez has that familiar laid back west coast flow, although at times it’s a little too familiar to the point that you think you might have already heard this before. Also, don’t be confused by the title, although it shares the name with the Comedy Central show, the only “political” track is the title track…thankfully. Overall it’s solid but not anything too spectacular. It is what it is.

However…you really can’t front on the illustrations on the cover art..yea I’m a sucker for nice design, sue me.
