First discovered by many outside of Latin America in 2001′s Y tu mamá también, Rudo y Cursi brings two of Mexico’s most acclaimed actors, Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna, back together in a film originally released in Mexico in late 2008 with a USA release date of May/June 2009. (Watch The Trailer) The movie is directed by Carlos Cuarón, who also directed Y tu mamá también

The soundtrack, out now on iTunes via Nacional Records, features original songs and covers from Quiero Club, Disco RuidoMexican Institute Of SoundThe Black Lips and even Gael García Bernal with an interesting cover of Cheap Trick’s “I Want You to Want Me”.
