It’s always good to see Austinites doing creative things with music and video, especially when they get to show off the city’s legendary live music scene to an online audience in a unique way. SwitchBurn is apparently a group of musicians, filmmakers and web geeks who have nothing better to do but show off their talents by putting together this kick ass website. The videos are apparently searchable by date, venue and artist and the quality of the video, the multiple angles and the quality of the audio is enough to make you want to browse through the entire live show library they have amassed. Artists includes KRS One, The Black Lips, Glass Candy, and even OKP sweethearts, Tanya Morgan.

This is certainly one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while,  I hope they keep working on the technology, the site and keep building up their library.
