Pretty self explanatory, Inner Loop Records brings some of Dc area’s most talented musicians to recreate a classic. I think that this, along with their Illmatic project, may suffer from maybe being written off by first lookers as just another remix project, but don’t be that person. This is much more than just putting Jay-Z’s old verses over new beats, it’s a tribute to the classic hip hop album. It’s musicians taking the themes and feel, and sometimes source material  and creating something new altogether. Needless to say, it’s at least interesting to see how each artist interprets and flips the source material. Download it now!
