Producer Alex Gimeno, (aka Ursula 1000) is back with his fourth studio album. The album, “Mystics” is out on DC based Eighteenth Street Lounge Records, better known as Thievery Corporation’s label. Interestingly enough, Gimeo teamed up with some vocalists and emcees, including Austin hip-hop icon Tee Double. To further mash up the DC to Austin connection, DC’s own All Good Funk Alliance has remixed the track. You just gotta love that capital to capital connection.

Ursula 1000 returns from journeys into outer space with his fourth studio album, an epic collection of psychedelic sonic sorcery entitled Mystics! Zig-Zagging further away from the cheeky vintage breakbeat-rhumba of previous albums, this time the Brooklyn beat-wizard ventures into tougher and more angular territory: beats banging harder and bass popping louder.
